This is the third sale for the Raymond Lahti Estate!! All items in this auction, will need to be picked up at Powell Auction Main Gallery or Shipped to the Buyer, if out of state or out of the area. This auction includes lots of gemstones in this sale. Mr. Lahti was known for having “one of the best” collections in Knoxville!! We have had an expert in the field look at and assist us with the descriptions and naming of the stones/gems/rocks. However if you know something to be something other than what we have in the description, please let us know and we will correct the catalog and by all means, please bid according to your knowledge of the materials.
Over 400 Lots Gemstones, Semi-Precious Stones, Agates, Geodes, Rocks and More!!! There are some fossilized Dinosaur Bones, Petrified Wood, Agates, Geodes, Crystals, Quartz, Some Jewelry, Display Cases and More!! I’m not even going to pretend to know all about these items. I can tell you that most of them are BEAUTIFUL!!! You really have to see them to appreciate them.

Lots will start ending Tuesday, September 29 @ 7:00pm EDT – soft close
Pickup will be Wednesday, September 30 from 8:30am – 5pm EDT at the Main Gallery of Powell Auction, 6729 Pleasant Ridge Rd.
15% Buyers Premium – No Sales Tax on this Auction – There is a 3% convienence fee for paying by Credit/Debit Card. You may pay by Cash or Approved Check, in person, on pickup day, Wednesday, September 30, at Powell Auction until 12:00pm EDT. After 12pm, all outstanding invoices will be charged to the credit card on file with Hibid. Powell Auction reserves the right to require any and all payments to be made by Wire Transfer or Overnight Cashiers Check. We ask that you be mindful when bidding, these are basically rocks and rocks are heavy. Shipping will not be inexpensive!!! We are more than happy to weigh specimens for you so you can obtain shipping quotes prior to bidding, just email dave@powellauction.com and ask. Please be your own judge as to type of specimen, description, local, age, condition of specimen or whatever else you need to help you bid intelligently on these items. We do not guarantee the authenticity of any specimen.
