Patton’s Army and survived almost a year as a prisoner in a Nazi P.O.W. camp.  Following the war, he pursued a life of scholarship and faith, earing advanced degrees, including a PhD in music theory and served as an Episcopal Priest.  Throughout these accopmplishments, Elizabeth remained his steadfast partner, sharing in their ministry and service work across Florida, Virginia and Tennessee.  They retired to Elizabeth’s home of Jefferson City, TN.  Elizabeth’s family lineage includes several notable East TN figures; General William Brazelton of New Market, Dr. I.M. Tittsworth of Jefferson City, Dr. Earl Fields and Dr. R.M.
